Bio

Gareth (1988) is een akoestische gitarist en componist uit Wales. Nadat hij op een dvd Tommy Emmanuel ‘Classical Gas’ zag en hoorde spelen wist hij: dat wil ik ook. Kerstmis 2002 kreeg hij z’n eerste gitaar op 14-jarige leeftijd. Daarna ging het heel hard. Hij heeft opgetreden op festivals en concerten wereldwijd en werd persoonlijk uitgenodigd voor de Chet Atkins Appreciation Society in Nashville door Tommy Emmanuel en Southside Johnny om op te treden op hun jaarlijkse New Years Eve concert in New Jersey. Hij was toen pas 17 jaar. Gareth heeft een geweldige reeks van concerten en gitaarfestivals achter de rug, waaronder The Montreal Jazz Festival. Hij geeft ook regelmatig gitaar-workshops op deze festivals. Vorig jaar November heeft Gareth in het voorprogramma van Jan Akkerman’s Engelse tour gestaan.
